Georgia Power Concrete Poles: Not Your Usual Specification

Fire Hydrant Refurbishment: Let’s Get Creative!

Recently, one of Induron’s larger water company customers used our products on a fire hydrant refurbishment project. Once the project was underway, I received a request that peaked my curiosity. The customer requested some very bright, dynamic colors in small quantities for a special part of the project. Fortunately, Indurlux 7600 can be made in just about any color, so we were able to provide the colors needed for the project.

Project Spotlight: South Elevated Storage Tank

The South Elevated Storage tank is a one-million-gallon elevated water tank owned by the City of Port Huron in Michigan. After years of use, the water tank was beginning to show signs of deterioration and rusting. This tank refurbishment project needed products that could be applied successfully to its previously-painted alkyd aluminum coating. Palmyra Tank Refurbishments

The city of Palmyra, Missouri, which is located two hours north of St. Louis, was platted in 1819 and is home to nearly 4,000 residences. With many buildings and homes listed in the historical  registry, Palmyra is rich with Civil War and Pony Express history. In fact, in 1827, the town became the Marion County Seat, which established it as the oldest postal stop in Missouri that is still in operation today. Induron Products Rehabilitate Fort Payne Potable Water Storage Tank

Recently, the Fort Payne Water System, located in Fort Payne, Alabama, rehabilitated its 6,000,000-gallon potable water storage tank. Working with Paul Nail of Fort Payne Water and Curt and Trey O’Daniel of Greenhill Engineering, Induron helped assess the condition of the tank and made coatings recommendations accordingly.
