This holiday season we have many, many things to be thankful for. For instance, this year Induron celebrated its 70th anniversary, launched two new products (Indurethane Monarch HS and Indurlux 9400 ), expanded into new markets and hired new team members—and those are just a few of the highpoints! We are so thankful to everyone we work with for helping make 2017 a fantastic year for Induron. We couldn’t have done it without you. Happy Thanksgiving from the Induron family to yours! Seeking Standardization in Coating Specifications for Wastewater Projects
By: Andy Odorzynski, Induron Sales Representative
This article was originally published in the September 2017 issue of the Journal of Protective Coatings & Linings.
As a technical sales representative for a paint manufacturing firm, I have the opportunity to work with specifying engineers and facility owners of projects spanning many different industries. Few industries present the same level of challenges in coatings specification development that one encounters in the wastewater marketplace. Outside of a few firms with industry expertise, specifying engineers tend to rely entirely on paint manufacturers to select coatings for their wastewater specifications. By: David D. Hood, Induron CEO
A history of the first 70 years (1947-2017) of:
The Industrial Paint Manufacturing Company (July 1, 1947-June 20, 1966)
Indurall Coatings, Inc. (June 20, 1966-Sept. 15, 1995)
Induron Coatings, Inc. (Sept. 15, 1995-Sept. 30, 2011)
Induron Coatings, LLC (Oct. 1, 2011-Present)
Seventy years ago, William E. Hood and Louis A. Prosch, Jr. started The Industrial Paint Manufacturing Company. These men believed in honor, integrity and serious, honest business. To begin the company, Hood, Prosch and several others invested $32,500 in capital. Prosch was the money and organization man and Hood was the paint formulator and face of the company. The two partners operated out of an office they borrowed from an uncle while assembling equipment to make paint. On May 6, 1948, they rented factory space, purchased equipment and made their first batch of red primer. Continue reading A History of the First 70 Years (1947-2017)

In fact, in 1827, the town became the Marion County Seat, which established it as the oldest postal stop in Missouri that is still in operation today. Induron is fortunate to have worked with the city to refurbish three water tanks. Continue reading Palmyra Tank Refurbishments
