Induron is thrilled to announce that we have been honored in three different categories of JPCL’s 2021 Prestige Awards: Top People, Top Project and Top Product. The JPCL Prestige Awards is an annual program dedicated to recognizing influential individuals, impactful products on the market, and noteworthy projects within the past year.
Top People: Tex Enoch
The Top People honors are judged on industry impact, personal achievement, professional interaction and extracurricular involvement. Induron’s long-standing Water Tank Manager, Tex Enoch was honored in this category. Tex has been in the protective coatings industry for more than 50 years. He is well-known for his commitment to the industry, specifically the potable water storage tank industry, through participation on standards committees and industry-supporting organizations. Most notably, Tex has earned the respect of his peers, including customers, co-workers and even competitors. Top Project: A Cone-Top Canvas in Deep Ellum
The Top Project category recognizes the players involved in a notable industrial protective coatings project completed in 2020. Built in 1914 in Deep Ellum, Texas, the Continental Gin Company includes a cone-top water tower that has since become a landmark to the community. After more than a hundred years in service, the cone-top tower was in need of major restoration. Property owner Westdale Management enlisted Goldman Global Arts (GGA) and TankSpek, Corp. to initiate the tank restoration project. The TankSpek team brought Induron in to supply an effective coatings system that reduced inevitable property damages from overspray. And, what happens when Goldman Global Arts, TankSpek, Corp., MyPerfectColor, and Induron Coatings collaborate? A pretty epic cone-top water tower restoration project for Westdale Management. Top Product: Mortarchem
Induron’s high-performance epoxy modified cementitious surface and repair mortar was recognized as Top Product, which were chosen by a popular vote process publicized in JPCL and on PaintSquare.com. In developing Mortarchem, the Induron team recognized that while cementitious epoxy mortars are a vital step in most concrete lining projects, the existing products were fraught with problems and application challenges. Mortarchem represents the next generation of cementitious epoxy mortar.
