In 2018, Induron teamed with Texarkana Water Utilities (TWU) to develop specifications for their uncoated, aging settling basins. The basins were in critical need of refurbishment. After several inspections to assess the condition of the basins, and working within the regulations unique to the region, specifications were written for the rehabilitation of the structures.

These facilities contain an enormous variety of service environments from potable water immersion, exterior weathering service (both the chemically stressed and “regular” varieties), secondary containment, solid chemical exposure, floors, pipe interiors, pipe exteriors, bar screens, screw pumps, headworks, chlorine chambers, aeration basins…and the list goes on and on.
