In order to better serve its surrounding community, Ralls County in Hannibal, Missouri planned to construct a new water treatment plant. Klingner and Associates, a multi-office engineering group in the midwest, was awarded the challenge to design the new facility. T&D Corrosion Solutions in South America

Restoring the Caseyville, IL Wastewater Treatment Plant

During the summer of 2022, the coatings protecting the City of Caseyville, Illinois’ Wastewater Treatment Plant assets reached their performance life expectancy. The protective coatings on the critical infrastructure substrates were spent, worn and some assets were beginning to show signs of corrosion. Hamilton Township, NJ Water Tank Repaint Aqua New Jersey’s 2-million-gallon standpipe water tank on location at their headquarters in Hamilton, NJ was in need of rehabilitation. Corrosion Report CardIn 2018,  congress passed the American Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA). This act seeks to strengthen the original intent of the Safe Drinking Water Act by recognizing that the condition of our infrastructure is directly related to the safety and quality of our drinking water. A New Look for TL-70

Coatings for the water tank industry have undergone major changes in recent years. The implementation of NSF-600, supply chain woes, and new technological innovation have all come together to result in a more rapidly changing set of linings than the industry has seen for quite some time. While service life expectations remain fantastic with these newer technologies, many of these newer coatings (or poorly adjusted re-treads of existing technology) have resulted in real challenges for applicators.
