It’s been a busy year at Induron full of exciting projects and new products and we look forward to an exciting 2020 ahead! With the holidays upon us, we want to take time to reflect on what we are truly grateful for.
We asked some of our employees to share their traditions and what they are most thankful for when it comes to their personal and professional lives:
“This will be the first year in four years that I won’t have to work on Thanksgiving Day, so I’m thankful that I’m in a position now where I get that holiday off to spend more time with my loved ones. Before I worked retail, my grandmother would take me every year to go shopping on Black Friday. So, we would have Thanksgiving lunch, go home and nap, and then get ready to go to town late that night.” Kassidy White– Chemist
“It’s a tradition in my family to run a “Turkey Trot” with everyone Thanksgiving morning. We put the turkey in the oven before we go and have dinner at lunchtime! Then it’s leftovers all day. We are running the Newport 10K this year on the Oregon coast.” Jamie Laird– Sales
“While Christmas remains my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving has always felt like the real “kickoff” for the holiday season. This is often the first time we see the majority of our extended families since last year’s holiday season. If you’re from the South, you understand this is also the time of year when the weather actually starts to cool down. It’s just an all-around great time of year that I look forward to every year!” Ben Rowland – Technical Services
“This might be my favorite time of the year! It’s a season when some spend time reflecting on the blessings that have been showered on them; a time to look outward and think of others who may be in need. So, first, I’m thankful for opportunities and the ability to help others when there is a need. It is definitely “more blessed to give than receive”. Second, I’m thankful for good health, my family, and prosperity. And speaking of prosperity, thirdly, I’m thankful to Induron Coatings for 24 years of employment. Any way you look at it, they are the best!!” Donna Poe– Accounts Payable
Wishing all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving full of family, friends and fun!
